Islamabad: Pakistan reported 7,586 fresh Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours when the fifth wave of the Covid-19 pandemic continued to get worse in the country, the country’s national command said on Sunday.
According to Geo TV, Pakistan registered the highest number of Coronavirus – 7,678 – on Friday since the pandemic began in 2020, according to NCOC statistics.
A total of 58,334 tests were carried out in this country for the past 24 hours, where 7,586 returned positive, encourage national calculations from cases of viruses to 1,367,605.
The state’s position is now standing at a record high of 13 percent.
Meanwhile, 20 more patients surrendered to the virus during the same period, taking dead to 29,097.
In addition, the country’s active coronavirus case jumped to 70,263, making it the highest in more than four months.
Last Pakistan reported 65,725 active cases on September 16, 2021, according to Geo TV.
Pakistan currently faces the fifth coronavirus wave, and omicron variants cases increase in this country.
In the middle of this outbreak, 15 judges along with five dozen staff working in a lower court have been infected, according to media reports.
