Covid-19 Surge: Complete Lockown in Kerala on July 31, August 1

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Government on Monday announced a complete locking on July 31 and August 1, given the increasing Covid-19 case in the state.
“The government sent a team of six members to Kerala, led by the Director of the National Center for Disease Control,” said Minister of Health Mansukh Mandaviya said.
Mandaviya added that the team would help the country’s sustainable efforts in Covid management because a large number of Covid cases were still reported in Kerala.
The state on Wednesday reported 22,056 new Covid cases and 131 deaths.
