Jaipur: Covid cases have increased at a fast speed in the state.
In just 24 hours, active cases increased 52.7% because the state reported 106.7% more infection on Tuesday compared to Monday.
The last time reported more than 1,000 daily infections on June 4 when 1,006 people were found infected.
Jaipur (745 cases) reported the biggest one-day surge since May 27 when the city had recorded 775 infections.
The state reported 1,137 Covid cases on Tuesday took Tally to 9,58,570.
One person died took the number of victims to 8,965.
Active cases have increased from 2,084 to 3,183 in the last 24 hours.
Active cases in the city rose to 2,135.
With one more victim, the Jaipur Toll touched 1,972.
The last death occurred on November 28 when a two and half-year-old baby died in the city.
“People who died in Jaipur underwent treatment at a private hospital.
He is 78 years old and has a comorbid related to the heart.
The elderly was received at the hospital on December 24 and was tested positive on December 25th.
He died on Monday night,” said Dr.
Narrettam Sharma , Head of Medical Health Officer (Jaipur).
While Covid cases increased, hospital admissions are now beginning to increase marginally.
In Ruhs Hospital, 23 patients are currently undergoing treatment, while several private hospitals also witnessed one or two reception.
The Ministry of Health has appealed to people to take appropriate precautions to avoid the risk of being infected with a virus.
