Kolhapur: 24×7 war room has been activated in Kolhapur to focus the system to manage covid beds in all governments and private hospitals in this district.
Kolhapur Regency collector Rahul Rekhawar has provided direct orders to activate the war space as a case increase.
Secretary of State Secretary Devashish Chakravarthy held a video conference meeting with district collectors of the increasing Covid cases and precautions taken in the district.
After the meeting, Rekhawar gave orders to activate the war room directly.
This war room will operate 24×7 and three officers have been assigned to handle it.
Along with them, eight other officials will also bring their jobs in three shifts in the war room.
“Management of the availability of beds in all governments and private hospitals in the district will be carried out through this war space.
Patients or relatives of patients will get direct information about the availability of beds in hospitals via SMS or calls in a short time reducing the last panic situation,” Rekhawar said.
Similar systems operate in Mumbai and provide service all the time to their patients and relatives.
Hospitals are expected to update the availability of beds.
