Bengaluru: Karnataka has reported 292 new cases of Coronavirus and 11 deaths, taking the number of infections to 29,88,333 and tolls to 38,082, the health department said on Sunday.
That day also saw 345 release, took the total number of recovery in the state as far as 29.41,578.
Of the 292 new cases reported on Sunday, 137 came from Bengaluru Urban, because the city saw 204 release and 7 deaths.
The total number of active cases in the country is 8,644.
While the level of participants for that day reached 0.27 percent, the case mortality rate (CFR) was at 3.76 percent.
Of the 11 deaths reported on Sunday 7 came from Bengaluru Urban; MySuru (2) and each of Chikkaballater and Dharwad.
Among the districts where new cases were reported, Bengaluru Urban contributed 137, Mysore 33, Hassan 26, Dakshina Kannada 24, followed by others.
Bengaluru Urban District Peak the list of positive cases, with a total of 12,51,872, followed by MySuru 1.79,167 and tumakuru 1,20,836.
Cumulatively, the total sample of 5.08 crore has been tested in this situation so far, where 1.06,939 was tested on Sundays.
