Akriti Sagar, District Judge (Center), said information and education campaigns are being carried out to make beneficiaries of a conscious booster dose of vaccination drive.
“We also interact with the association of resident welfare and make random telephone calls to identify people over the age of 60 years with comorbidity,” said Sagar, adding that eligible individuals were also being contacted through the campaign ‘Har Ghar Dasktak’ campaign.
Chesha Yadav, DM (North-West), said that health workers were encouraged to get a booster dose at their workplace.
“For police personnel, special camps are being held at the DCP office and police welfare club,” he said.
Special camps were also held in high density areas such as Sultanpuri and Mangolpuri.
Government officials said they expect more people to come out over the dosage of caution as the third wave subsided.
Delhiites 60 years old and above began to get Jab from March last year.
The total population in this age group is around 21 lakh, including 3.8 lakh has comorbidity, according to government data.
Many of these individuals, especially those who receive Covishield, are waiting for a mandatory nine-month hose to be able to get a booster dose of the same vaccine that they have adjabbed before.

The existing Co-Win account is used to book appointments and to get a digital vaccination certificate.
