NEW DELHI: The Delhi police will set up at least well-equipped Quick Reaction Teams in southwest area for easing medical help and oxygen assistance for Covid sufferers, officials said on Wednesday.
The neighborhood policing initiative was launched under the Yuva plot of the Delhi authorities, they stated.
Deputy commissioner of police (Southwest) Ingit Pratap Singh stated,”We’ve chosen 30 Yuva Trainers and began his training first aid, CPR, disaster management, performance of oxygen concentrators throughout our NGO partners and hospitals” After finishing the training, those volunteers armed with oxygen concentrators will soon be deployed in QRT (Quick Reaction Team) vans and Delhi police employees will react to emergency calls for supplying first aid assistance to Covid patients,” he explained.
“We’ve seen the crisis scenario and overcrowded health infrastructure, and unavailability of crucial medical disorders and oxygen assistance.
For this reason, we’ve lost several lives,” he explained.
“According to the education of the commissioner of Delhi authorities, we’re planning to battle any unforeseen conditions,” Singh added.
The Yuva initiative intends to connect with childhood by updating their skills according to their competencies.
It allows them to find gainful employment under the Pradhan Mantri kaushal vikas yojna of this ministry of art development.
