Lucknow: The situation of the pandemic at Uttar Pradesh inches closer to the ups and downs on Friday with only 133 new cases recorded in 24 hours.
The state also recorded only one death.
The two are similar to the situation in the first week of March, according to health bulletins.
New cases took the calculation to 17.06.384, including 16.81,208 patients had recovered.
This translated into a recovery rate of almost 98.6%.
The only death was reported at Etawah, taking the death toll to 22,616.
The bulletin revealed that 24 districts recorded zero cases in the last 24 hours, while Lucknow (11) and Prayagraj (11) were the only ones that recorded double digit entries.
Varanasi (9), Ghaziabad (7) and Gorakhpur (6) are the only districts with more than five cases.
The country now has 2,560 active cases around 1,600 patients are under house isolation.
Bulletin shows that 60 districts (or 80%) have less than 50 active cases, while only six have more than 100 active cases.
These are: Lucknow (178), Prayagraj (171), Kushinagar (123), Varanasi (123), Muzaffarnagar (113) and Meerut (112).
Meanwhile, the total number of doses given reached 3.20 crores until 8pm on Friday.
