Covid: 623 people in Bihar are fined because they don’t wear a mask

Patna: With the country see the surge in Covid cases, authorities in various districts have begun to take crackdown against those who violate the guidelines.
A special drive launched throughout the state on Sunday about the instructions of the main secretary to ensure the implementation of Covid guidelines.
During a special trip, 571 people and 52 riders were fined on Patna.
The administrative district of Patna collected Rs 71,650 was as good as they were not wearing a mask.
Overall 46 teams made a special drive on Patna.
474 people were arrested without masks on the road, 173 in shops and 10 in a different hospital place.
Patna DM Chandrashekhar Singh said the drive will continue so people maintain the appropriate behavior of Covid in public places.
Of the 474 people fined on the road, the maximum 140 was under Danapur Danapur, 84 in Barr, 53 in Masauri, 41 in Paliganj, 29 in Patna Sadar and 21 at Patna City.
Overall 785 vehicles were examined in the district and 52 riders were made to pay Rs 43,100.
The state has imposed a fine of RS 50 to people who do not wear masks in public places, vehicles and shops.
Commissioner Division Patna Kumar Ravi said the drive of the mask examination was carried out in Patna in crowded places, such as vegetable markets, bus stands, hospitals, restaurants, train stations and private vehicles and public.
