Pune: The number of people recovered from Covid-19 infection (1.306) exceeded the daily case (854) in the Pune Metropolitan area (PMR) on Tuesday, lowering the active kasel below 10,000.
Both borders of Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad and rural areas recorded more disposal to fight new cases in the last 24 hours, a report released by district health workers, said Bhagwan Pawar.
Most releases are recorded in rural areas (716) followed by the PMC (344) limit and PCMC (241) area.
The PMC limit added 228 new cases, while the PCMC area added 185 and rural areas recorded 429 new patients.
The increase in recovery pushed the active caseload in the region to 9,936 (under 10,000).
A total of 5,560 patients were treated in various hospitals, while 4,376 patients were in house isolation at PMR.
The report stated that the disposal calculation in PMR increased to 10.37 lakh by Tuesday night, while Kaseeload positive reached 10.65 lakh.
A total of 15,954 samples were tested in the area on Tuesday, which was a little more than Monday.
About 6,300 samples were tested in rural areas, 5,840 within PMC limits and 3,618 in the PCMC area.
Fifteen more patients gave up on infection in the region on Tuesday, where seven deaths were recorded in the PMC limit, three within the PCMC and five in rural areas.
The area so far recorded 18,122 deaths due to Covid-19 infection.
Health experts have put the focus on the behavior that matches Covid to keep Covid-19 scattered in checks.
