Chennai: Seven zones in this city have less than 100 cases of Active Covid-19, official statistics released by Greater Chennai Corporation on Saturday shows.
Four zones are in North Chennai.
Data, with the numbers on July 23, shows Tiruvottiyur has 64 active cases, Manali 39, Madhavaram 91 and TondairPet 86.
In the South Chennai region, Alandur has 60 active cases while Perungudi has 73 and Shollingallur 47.
Zone with active cases The city is Adyar (187), in South Chennai.
Solid central chennai, which always has the most active case in the city, does not have one zone with less than 100 active cases.
Active cases in the city are 0.3% of the total infection recorded in the city so far.
City Corporation also released data on the mortality rate of zone cases and recovery on its social media pages after a few days of gap.
