Varanasi: Relief for the Varanasi District, the pace of the spread of Coronavirus has witnessed a gradual decline with the number of Covid-19 active cases which dropped below the 3,000 mark on Thursday.
Daily medical bulletins, from 3,917 test reports received, 201 people were tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, while 574 patients including five in hospital facilities and 569 in house isolation was declared recovered in the district.
At present, there are 2,662 Covid-19 active cases in this district.
Sample 6,985 people were collected on Thursday, while two patients were hospitalized.
In Jaunpur District, 64 people were tested positive for Covid-19 while 103 patients in house isolation were declared recovered on Thursday.
At present, there are 474 Covid-19 active cases in Jaunpur.
Ballia District reported 28 new cases of Coronavirus infection on Thursday.
While 39 patients were declared recovered, this district had 270 active cases.
In the Chandauli district, 34 people included 15 women and five children were tested positive for Covid, while 87 patients were declared cured.
Sample 1816 people were collected for testing.
