Ahmedabad: The Ministry of Health (AMC) Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation declared 10 new micro detention zones on Thursday.
This is the highest number of detention zones announced in the day after the practice of micro detention continued from November.
The new micro detention zone includes 164 houses with 605 residents.
This detention zone includes buildings located on Satellites, Vastrapur, Jodhpur, Makarba, Prernatirth, Sola, Navrangpura, Naranpura and Chandkheda.
A total of 75 houses with 262 residents in four residential communities located in Science City Road in Sola were taken based on micro detention.
While 28 houses with 118 residents in a housing community in Makarba were brought to the bottom of the micro detention zone.
36 houses in three residential communities in Vastrapur with 114 residents contained micro.
AMC has stopped the practice of placing buildings in the Micro Detention Zone in the last week of May.
However, the practice has been continued since November as Gujarat and Ahmedabad marked the trend in the case of Covid-19.
