Canberra: Australia has reported the least small Covid-19 case in the past few weeks when the country continues to fight with the third wave of infection.
There were 1,115 new cases obtained locally and five deaths from pandemics reported throughout Australia on Sunday morning.
The majority of new cases were in Victoria, the most populous states of the two countries with Melbourne as the capital city, where 905 cases and four deaths were reported.
On Saturday 90.4 percent of Australians aged 16 years and over have received a dose of Covid-19 and 83 percent vaccine fully inoculated, according to the Ministry of Health.
More than 250,000 Australians have a third booster shot.
When the launch of Booster accelerated the Health Minister Greg Hunt on Sunday said the government would not change its definition “fully vaccinated”.
“Suggestions at the Professor Stage Brendan Brendan Scientific and the Technical Advisory Group are that you are considered fully vaccinated with two doses,” he told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) television.
