Covid Booster Drive in Secunderabad Cantt saw 100th% Jump

Secunderabad: The count of beneficiaries who received a dose of booster with almost 100% – from 260 to 500 – in the Secunderabad Cantonment, in a four-day range.
The reason: special drives are held in housing colonies by the Department of Medical and Telangana Health.
“After we saw a few examples where people had to return without a dose from the health center, 12 specialized medical teams were formed to ensure that every person who qualified could take advantage of a dose of booster in the Secunderabad Cantonment.
These teams visit housing colonies and regulate registration of places to The people, “said Dr.
H Rajkumari, Deputy District of Medical and Health (DMHO) from the Ministry of Health, Secunderabad Cantonment.
According to him, the medical team visited around 12 to 15 colonies every day where they set up a temporary camp to manage booster shots to candidates who qualified.
Drives are detained for up to 4pm every day and expanded to discuss frontline workers, health workers and police properly.
In fact, the special team had been deployed at the police training center in Begumpet to meet the requirements of their officials and their families there, said Deputy DMHO.
Other places borne by Booster Drive are Bowenpally, Trimulithry, Picket, Rasoolpura, and Bollarum Cantonment General Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Resident’s Welfare Association at the Cantonment welcomed this decision to do a special drive, almost in front of their door, claiming that it would help more people take shots.
“On the first day, I visited the Urban Bowenpally Health Center but could not take a dose of booster because of a hurry.
Also, the people there don’t wear masks or follow social distance.

He and his wife waited almost 30 minutes at the Picket Health Center for their booster dose but had to go back without it.
“Even though he managed to get it in the end, I ran out of patience.

The couple went for the US next week.
He said that this drive would eventually end the misery of such residents.
