New Delhi: Delhi Police have issued 3,14,977 Challans, mostly because they are not wearing facial masks, between April 19 and November 3 this year for violating various norms related covid, where the maximum is issued for people because they do not wear face masks, said Officials.
According to the latest data distributed by Delhi police, 3,14,977 Challans have been issued for the violation since the announcement of locking in the National Capital on April 19 last year.
Data showed that from the total Challan so far, a maximum of 2,78,505 was issued for violations of mask rules, followed by 30,368 because they did not hold on to social dying norms and 2,956 for consumption of liquor, pan, gutkha, tobacco.
The other 1,684 Challan was issued to spit and 1,464 to hold meetings and major public churches, the data stated.
The ‘open key’ process starts in Delhi in stages with the government that allows construction and manufacturing activities from May 31.
In the following weeks, markets, malls, metro trains, restaurants, and many other activities were permitted.
