Other CCC will be activated based on needs
When the Covid-19 case has fallen sharply, Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanaagara Palike (BBMP) has reduced the number of Covid care centers (CCCS) to one facility per zone.
When a peak at its peak in May and June, the civil body has rushed to create nearly 60 centers to recognize and care for covid patients who are without symptoms or suffer from mild symptoms.
The active number of CCCs has now been reduced to seven.
Each zone, except RR Nagar, has one active Covid Care Center, currently treats a total of 123 patients.
The BBMP chose to activate almost all centers established in government-owned buildings, both Haj Bhavan in Zona Yelahanka or Karmikara Bhavana in Dasaraalli.
Only two centers located in private buildings are Seng hotels in Mahadevapura and Bosch in Adugodi.

Although BBMP has established nearly 60 covid care centers and triage centers in the city, most of these facilities are not used optimally because Covid cases begin to fall at the new center assigned.
The majority of these centers are rented from personal individuals.
A total of 3,400 beds were made in all 60 centers but this facility was used by around 5,000 covid patients.

Officials said they were ready to activate many Covid care centers in a short time if the number of new cases rose.
“We report 600 to 700 Covid cases every day.
CCC will be activated depending on the situation,” Gaurav Gupta, said the BBMP commissioner.
He also stressed that BBMP would be able to meet the 70 percent vaccination target of the adult population at the end of July.
The President Commissioner insisted that everyone had to wear a mask even after getting their vaccine.
