Noida: With a stable decline in the Daily Covid-19 infection and active case in Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad since February 1, the number of infections tends to touch the pre-third wave recorded in December and November last year for the next few days, said the expert.
On Sunday, the district detected 81 new cases, down from 129 on Saturday.
Active cases in the district too, have dropped to 752.
In December and November last year, a total of 261 and 65 cases were recorded in the region.
But the number of cases has surged in January this year, with this district adding 2,230 new cases on January 13, which pushed the number of active cases to 10,718.
Cases have peaked on January 16, when 2,040 more people tested positive infections, taking active cases to 12,705.
The number of active cases slipped below 3,000-mark since February – 2,669 active cases and 287 new infections were recorded at 1.
Ghaziabad February too, had seen a trend similar to the number of active cases down below 2,000-mark since February 1 when added 226 new cases take active cases to 1,830.
Since February 6, the active case of the district remained under 1,000.
In the last 24 hours, 32 new cases have been reported in this district, while active cases are recorded at 385.
Every 235 and six cases in December and November last year.
“The recovery among patients in the pandemic wave is currently good with most convalescing from infection in one week of house isolation,” said Dr.
