Lucknow: Covid counts decreased further at Uttar Pradesh with only nine new cases recorded on Monday.
The current state has 123 active Covid cases while 42 districts have zero cases, the government said.
The government’s release stated that up close to vaccination around 12 crore adult populations that qualified for vaccines.
“Active and fresh covid cases have declined to zero in Amroha, Ayodhya, Badun, Baghpat, Ballia, Bahraich, Bijnor, Chandauli, Chitrakoot, Deoria, Etah, Etawah, Farrukhabad, Fatehpur, Gonda, Hamirpur, Hampar, Hamirpur, Hajar Hardoi, Hathras, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Kasguaranjar, Kaushambi, Kushinagar, Lakhimpur-Kheri, Lalitpur, Mahabi, Mirzapur, Mainpuri, Want, Pratapgarh, Rampur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Sitapur, Unnao and Sonbhadra, ” said an official statement.
More than 9 crore people have received the first dose of vaccines at Uttar Pradesh while more than two crore people have received the second dose.
