Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 137 new Covid-19 cases and one death on Friday, even when the number of active cases in the country reached 3,657.
The total number of cases from the start of the pandemic last year stood at 6.74 lakhand the death toll was at 3,979.
173 patients were declared recovered on Friday, taking the total number of patients restored to 6.66 lakh.
Case Fatality Rate (CFR) stands at 0.58% while the recovery rate is at 98.86%.
So far, 79.9% of the overall cases in this country have been asymptomatic while 20.1% have symptomatic.
On Thursday, 31,054 samples were tested for Coronavirus novels.
Telangana has now completed a sample testing of 2.81 crore and has reached 7.57 lakh testing sample per million populations.
GHMC recorded 48 cases during the day, while Medchal Malkajirgiri adjacent to 10 cases.
Rangareddy recorded 16 cases and Sangareddy recorded two cases.
