Hyderabad: With several districts bordering Andhra Pradesh still reported the Covid-19 case, Chairman of the K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday directing the Ministry of Medical and Health officials to conduct a survey of fever once again in the region.
He said the senior official team led by the Secretary of the Ministry of Health must visit Nagarjuna Sagar, Miryalaguda, Nakrecal, Suryapet, Khammam, Dornakal, Huzurabad, Manherial, Peddapalli, Bellampalli, Godavarikhani, Sircilla and Warangal for three days with helicopters.
Asking officials to submit reports to the cabinet after their tour, he said Covid-19 cases in several districts had not been controlled.
“Officials must conduct scientific studies and critically analyze the reasons for the spread of Covid-19 cases in the area.
Special Scientific Action Plans need to be prepared after studying the basic level situation in these districts.
They also have to hold meetings with collectors, Panchayat and Officers Medical, Commissioner of the city and hospital supervisor, “KCR said when reviewing the Covid-19 case with health officials in Pragati Bhavan.
CM said the BOS Department of Health must constantly review their officers’ performance and availability of drugs, oxygen supplies and beds.
“With the report of third wave, medical and health officials must be high alert.
We must be ready to face the possibility,” he said.
He said a study must be carried out in the Coronavirus situation and what steps were taken to limit it in West Bengal, Delhi and Maharashtra.
Enforcement of Covid-19 control measures such as wearing masks and social blasphemy must be strict, CM said and urged people to observe self-restraint and follow Covid-19 guidelines and cooperate with the government.
