Kochi: The Kerala government on Friday decided to continue locking on Sunday considering the increasing Covid-19 case in the state.
The government, facing flares from opposition and public health experts for the alleged Covid-19 management in this country, tonight issued orders in this matter.
It is said that the Kuncian will apply on Sundays, with only limited activities.
The decision occurred when the country recorded 32,801 cases today, up from 30.007 on Thursday and the test level of testing reached 19.22 percent, increased from 18.03 percent on August 26.
The government has provided an exception in locking on Sunday in the last two weeks because of the celebration of Independence Day and Onam.
