Ahmedabad: With three new Covid-19 cases in 24 hours and the release of 10 patients, active patients in the Ahmedabad district reached 43, up below 50 for the first time since March 2020.
The district had 20,713 active cases on May 24.
Cases are reduced to a tenth in 45 days for the district.
The country recorded 14 new cases and 25 patients disposal, reduced active cases of 11.
The number of active cases reached 171 on Monday.
New cases on Monday include 4 of the city of Vadodara, each from Ahmedabad and letters, and 1 of each of the city of Gandhinagar, Rajkot City, City of Letter, and Amreli.
On Monday, the country recorded a vaccination of 5.01 lakh people including the first 3.5 lakh doses and 1.5 lakh second dose.
The 18-45 year age group only received 2.6 lakh first dose.
The state government on Monday said that August alone contributed 1 dose of crore.
Five patients were in the ventilator on Monday, while the remained recovery rate was 98.7%.
