Bengaluru: The active case in Karnataka fell to 9,578 on Thursday, the lowest in the last 212 days (almost seven months).
The state has 9,428 active cases on March 16 after cases rise quickly before it decreases.
Yadgir has zero active case, the only district in Karnataka does not have an active infection.
However, active cases in the country rose to 9,671 on Friday.
Bengaluru continued to have a lion part of the active case, with 6,637 (69.3%) people were still being treated for this disease.
Eleven other districts have more than 100 active cases.
In 392, Mysuru had the most active case after Bengaluru, followed by Dakshina Kannada (373), Hassan (362), Tumakuru (292), Chikkamagaluru (231), Uttara Kannada (161), Udupi (144), Kodagu (128), Ballari (126) and Mandya (107).
In 17 districts, the number of breastfeeding infections of less than 100.
These include five districts that have less than 10 active cases.
Raichur has eight, while Bagalkot, Bidar and Haveri each have six, and Gadag has three covid patients who have not defeated infection.
Incidentally, Karnataka has the highest active Kaseeload burden during the peak of the second wave in mid-May, when some patients with medium infections until they rush to find a hospital bed.
On three consecutive days starting May 15, Covid Country active cases have violated six lakh.
On June 1, the active case was reduced to 2.9 lakh and gradually reduced afterwards.
Dr.
MK Sudarshan, Chairperson, Covid State Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) said active cases are expected to fall below 10,000 in September.
“There is no work definition or criteria set for the end of the wave.
However, we can say that the second wave will end and maybe the pandemic enters the endemic stage,” Dr.
Sudarshan said.
TAC Chairperson added: “The virus continues to circulate mainly because of his infectivity and the right behavior of Covid is bad.
At present, the virus is no longer fierce, and it hasn’t caused hospitalization from all cases.” Another expert told the Toi that while a significant decrease in the active case It is a good sign, the state must continue to maintain momentum in the war against a pandemic through a supervision strategy.
This includes identifying infections by testing all symptomatic people.
