Patna: a solid residential area in a city account for the most active Covid case.
While the Patna district has more than 70% of the total active cases in the state, almost 90% of patients are in the city area.
Patna has 52 active Covid cases on Friday – nine each at AG Colony and Patel Nagar and four each in Kankarbagh and boring places.
Buddha Colony and Phulwarisharif have three active cases each and BHOOTHNATH ROAD, JaganPura, Rukanpura and Patna City respectively.
Even areas such as Anisabad, Shastri Nagar and Digha in each city have one active Covid case.
Places such as Gola Road, Ghoswari and Bihta also have one active case each on Friday.
In accordance with the data distributed by the Ministry of Health on Friday night, there were 83 Covid active cases in Bihar, including 61 in Patna District alone, four in Samastipur and three in Begusarai and East Champaran.
A health official said Patna contributed a large number of cases because most people came from abroad or the first country came to the city.
Patna DM Chandrashekhar Singh said 66 samples from the district had been sent to the order of genomes to different laboratories and the results were awaited.
High-tech lab will soon be arranged at the LNJP Hospital: Lok Jaiprakash Narayan Hospital in Rajbanshi Nagar in Patna, all of them will begin a high-tech laboratory in the first week of January where various tests will be made for free.
The lab will have facilities for 23 types of tests, including important tests needed for covid patients such as D-dimer, IL-6 and serum ferritin along with RT-PCR.
Even basic tests such as complete blood counts, random blood sugar, liver function, kidney function and arterial blood gas will also be done for free.
Director of the Hospital Dr.
Subhash Chandra said, “We work with our equipment suppliers and kits to make this laboratory operate in the first week of January.
Service will be provided to people for free.” The state health community has been tied with Care India to establish a sophisticated laboratory this.
