Written by news2in

Even when Covid numbers in the country continue to fall, with new cases on Monday dipping to 103 days low, data last week revealed the plateau of cases in Maharashtra and Kerala while the virus showed a surge in several northeastern countries.
India recorded 37,152 new cases on Monday, the lowest daily count since March 17, while Covid’s deaths that day remained low at 699, did not count 186 long deaths added by Maharashtra.
Meanwhile, Sunday passed (June 21-27), Maharashtra recorded 64,113 cases, a 2% decrease from the previous week’s 65,487 case case.
This was a slowdown from a 17.4% decline in case in seven days earlier and a 23% decline in the previous week.
While the percentage of decline usually slows down because the case decreases, in the case of Maharashtra, this has occurred at the stage when the country still records 9,000 new cases on several days.
Similar Kerala Case.
The country recorded 79,500 new cases for June 21-27, the highest number in India and 2% less than the calculation (81,155) in the previous week.
In fact, Kerala and Maharashtra have recorded among the decreasing daily infections no later than the mounting cases in these countries.
The numbers also revealed a surge in the northeast, with Arunachal Pradesh recorded a 68% increase in cases, Mizoram 42% and Nagaland 17%.
