Mumbai: After registering a slight increase on Wednesday, Tally Covid daily in Maharashtra (997), including Mumbai (276), down on Thursday.
Before Wednesday, the state had five days recorded a record of less than 1,000 cases a day, while the case of Mumbai remained under 300 for six days.
Daily tests that have fallen significantly as long as Diwali has increased by 1.1 lakh tests carried out in Maharashtra, including 37,517 in Mumbai.
The Mumbai region, which consists of eight city corporate areas, continues to make the highest contribution to state cooperatives.
Of the 997 positive cases in the state, almost half (475) came from the Mumbai region.
Pune (259) and Nashik (180) are the only other regions with three-digit tally in the state.
In Mumbai, the number of people in the housekeeping house (48,921) has dropped significantly from 80,000 pluses in September.
Fifteen buildings throughout the city were sealed.
A senior BMC official said cases were spread throughout the city and there was no cluster appearance.
