Varanasi: Coronavirus infection case continues to surge in the district, as 375 more people tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday while eight patients in house isolation declared detention.
According to detection of new cases, the number of active cases increased to 1,378 in the district.
The test results are 6,126 samples are accepted, while the results of 3,254 samples are waiting, and 5,491 samples are collected on Sundays.
1,674 people were tested positive until the date of December 1, 2021 where 296 patients were declared cured.
All patients recovered treated in house isolation.
In the Chandauli district too, the Covid-19 active case crossed the 100 mark on Sunday.
