Mumbai: The country reported the lowest daily cases and death since April 2020 with the possibility of a decline in testing during weekends.
After almost 70,000 tests, 656 people were tested positively; Eight deaths were reported on Monday.
The country’s daily cases are the lowest since April 30, 2020, (583) and the least daily deaths since April 17, 2020, when seven victims were reported.
This is the first time this year that the state has reported death in one digit.
