Shimla: Saying around 2,700 Coronavirus active cases in this country are a matter of worries because cases have increased in a very short period, Minister of Himachal Pradash Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Thursday directing all Deputy Commissioners (DCS) from the country to focus on searching contacts , especially in rural areas, keeping a sudden surge in cases related to Covid-19.
He said most cases had been reported from rural areas while there were very few cases in urban areas, including the main tourist attractions, which showed that there was no impact of tourist flow to various parts of the cellphone.
He added that social meetings, wedding functions and parties are the main reasons behind the spread of this pandemic.
Jai Ram Thakur said this while leading a video conference with DC and police supervisors (SPS) from Shimla to review the Covid-19 situation.
He said there was an adequate oxygenated general bed, oxygen concentrator, testing kit and ventilator and work to establish 28 additional PSA factories on progress.
The work at eight PSA factories has been completed and ten PSA factories will be completed on August 31.
CM said the state government would immediately consider forcing further restrictions and reopening the school to examine the spread of further viruses.
