Mumbai: This country adds 11,877 cases of Covid-19 on Sunday, a spike of 29% from the previous day (9,170).
The city recorded 7,792 infections, an increase of 26% over 6,186 cases on Saturday.
The case has surged every day for about two weeks, except last Monday – mainly because of fewer test weekend phenomena on Sundays.
The state reported nine deaths while the city had no death.
The total case in the country rose to 67 lakh.
The city increased to 7.98 lakh.
