Ludhiana: Ludhiana residents and others from Hoshiarpur died because Covid-19 and four were tested positive in the district on Tuesday.
The health department official said after more than two months, two Covid deaths were reported in Ludhiana.
The deceased from the district was a 72-year-old man from Bijapur Kothhe in Khanna Tehsil.
He inhaled the last at the hospital in Sector 32, Chandigarh.
Tally District victims have increased to 2,105 and outsiders here become 1,053.
For date, 26,33,462 people have been tested.
Of the four new cases, two are positive contact posts, one from the corner of the flu and one from the OPD.
Two patients from outside Ludhiana too, were tested positive here.
Local health department officials said the number of district cases was 87,578 and that outsiders here were 11,692.So far, 85,451 patients had recovered, which was 97.57% of the total cases.

On Tuesday, the number of samples taken was 7,144.
There was no patient in the ventilator.
