Varanasi: The third wave of Covid-19 claimed two lives again in Varanasi and one in Jaunpur on Sunday while the count of positive cases of new Covid continued to rise in neighboring districts.
The daily night bulletin of the medical head Varanasi stated that 56 years old suffering from Chaukaghat suffered kidney disease and a 86-year-old man Manduadih, who suffered a heart attack, died of covid during treatment at the SSL Hindu Hindu Hospital in Banaras.
Need the total number of third covid waves to three in the district.
CMO said that a total of 6,393 lab test reports were received by Sunday night diagnosing 411 as positively took the cumulative number of positive cases in the district to 9043.
