New Delhi: Given the sharp surge in the case of Covid-19 reported in Kerala, complete locking will be imposed in the country on July 31 and August.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, said on Thursday that the central government would send a team of six high-level members to Kerala.
The team, led by the Director of the National Disease Control Center, will assist the state in “effective public health interventions” for the management of the Covid crisis.
“Because a large number of cases are still reported in Kerala, the team will help state efforts in Covid management,” said Mandaviya.
Kerala, with active Kaseload 1.54 lakh, contributed 37.1% of the total active case in this country, with a growth rate of 1.41 in the last 7 days.

If the trend continues like this, the total weekly case (Sunday that ends on Sunday) can rise for the first time since the top of the second wave.

The state has also reported high-case cumulative case participants and 11.97% weekly.
Six districts report weekly participants more than 10%.
