PUNE: Maharashtra deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar on Friday reported the government in Pune will look at introducing a few relaxations in the event the COVID-19 positivity rate in town is still under 5 percent in the following two days.
Last week, Pune town had arrived under the state administration’s level 3 class.
But, with all the joys rate dropping a bit under 5 percent, the town has moved to degree two.
Underneath relaxations in degree two, stores are allowed to run until 7 pm, whereas resorts, restaurants, and eateries can operate until 10 pm for dine-in using 50 percent seats capacity and malls may function by adhering to social-distancing criteria.
“Considering that the joys rate of Pune city has gone under the 5 percent, the government has chosen to give additional comfort to the city,” said Pawar, who’s also the guardian ministry of Pune district.

Pune mayor Murlidhar Mohol reported that the positivity rate in the Monetary limitations of Pune was at 4.95 percent for a single week.

Talking about the Wari procession, Pawar said 100 warkaris (devotees of Lord Vitthal) every from Dehu and Alandi have now been granted permission to participate in the yearly pilgrimage to Pandharpur at Solapur district.
