Covid Curbs on Devotees Visits Tarakeswar Temple

Tarakeswar: The worshipers will not be allowed to bring water to Tarakswar temple during the Shravan month this year.
The formal decision was taken at the meeting of the Head of Trust Temple of Dandiswami, Sureswar Ashram and Tarakswar Mla Ramendu Singha Roy.
“We do not allow this crowd because of the restrictions of Covid-19.
Pour water into snacks, traditional practices, are also not permitted,” said Singha Roy.
“Only 200 worshipers will be permitted in 24 hours at the premises of the temple but with limits,” said Dandiswami.
“The worshipers must be vaccinated and bring evidence with them.
They must wear a mask and carry sanitaryers.
The worshipers will be permitted between 5.30am and 14:00,” said Singha Roy.
Garbhagriha will remain closed throughout the period such as tradition.
“No one was allowed in Garbhaghagha during the Moon of Shravan,” said Dandiswami.
Police Commissioner Chandernagore Arnab Ghosh said, “There will be a camp in Sheorafuli Ghat who will continue to notify people about the norms that must be followed.
We will ask them not to get water from Ganga Ghats in the area,” he said.
There is no rally that will be allowed on a 32 km stretch between Sheoraphuli and Tarakeswar.
