Jaipur: Strict Covid-19 guidelines have affected the celebration of the Puja Durga this year too.
Because people are not permitted to gather in large quantities, pleasant activities such as Dandiya and Garba have been canceled in most places.
Also, only the limited number of people will be allowed to enter Panja Pandal.
Durga Bari, the oldest puja durga in the city, has decided to only allow 5 to 10 people to Darshan at a time.
Likewise, the organizer of the Puja Durga in World Trade Park in Malviya Nagar has sent invitations to people who will be allowed to enter a pandal and witness puash at five days.
The committee has notified that only five people will be allowed to visit Darshan to avoid social meetings.
Many organizers of Dandiya, who have begun to send invitations, have changed their plans.
“Now, we will arrange Garba and Dandiya with only 50 committee members.
No one else will be permitted.
We must follow the guidelines by the government,” said Ravindra Kumar, Dandiya’s organizer.
Rohit Sharma Garba Organizer will now arrange the event only for his club members.
Similarly, Sharwan Singh, who used to hold 300 members of Dandiya and Garba every year, will celebrate the festival with only 50 people in his colony in the Vishwakarma Industrial area.
“District police and administrative officials do not give permission.
Therefore, we decided to celebrate only in our colonies,” said Singh.
Some shop rental shop owners said because of restrictions, orders were canceled.
The shop owner of a dress rental in Mansarover said the order was also limited, but with more stringent guidelines, many people canceled their rental orders.
Meanwhile, many committee criticized government regulations said there were no restrictions imposed during elections.
