New Delhi: Covid-19 cases continued to surge in Kerala as the country recorded 17,518 new cases on Friday, the highest in 50 days.
In the past seven days, the southern state has seen a 14% surge in the case of Coronavirus.
The increasing number in Kerala and Northeast again took the indian daily calculation of nearly 40,000 on Friday, the day after the country posted less than 35,000 new cases after the Eid festival festival.
There were 37,871 cases reported in India on Friday, with the number of Assam has not arrived until at night.
The death toll day from the virus stood at 525, with Assam toll road unknown.
