Covid: Daily testing drops under 90,000 in T’Gana

Hyderabad: After floating around the one-lakh sign for about one week – after the direction of the High Court on an increase in daily testing – Covid-19 test count in Telangana fell to 88,867 on Wednesday, even when recording 3,8801 covid-19 positive cases.
With one death recorded for the past 24 hours, the total death toll states at 4,078.
While the level of case fatality remained constant at 0.55 percent, the recovery rate fell further to 94.37 percent with 2,046 patients recovered on Wednesday.
So far, 7,05,054 patients throughout Telangana have recovered after contracting the virus.
Meanwhile, even because most of the districts saw a drop in the number of their daily cases, the number continued on the northern trend within the Battano Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) which recorded 1,570 cases followed by Rangeddy with 284 and Medchal Malkajiriri with 254.
