Ranchi: Former Jharkhand Chief of Jharkhand Shibu Soren and Babulal Marandi celebrated their birthday from the public on Tuesday, given the ongoing waves in the case of Covid-19 in the state.
Shibu, who was the president of the JMM verdict and petellers of Rajya Sabha MP, was 78 years old, while Babulal, Old Shibu’s political rival, celebrated his 64th birthday.
On Tuesday, Shibu spent his time at the residence of the Head of the Head of Hemant Soren in Kanke Jalan.
Together with his wife Rupi, Shibu had moved to their son’s official residence when their bungalows at Morhabadi were undergoing repairs but because of a pandemic, he did not take part in the celebration.
The good properties put flower bouquets outside Morhabadi’s residence.
“This year, JMM workers celebrated their leader’s birthday by distributing new blankets and clothing to prisoners at Cheshire’s house, a shelter for senior citizens, in Bariatang.
The muted celebrations were also held in all cities to mark the opportunity while obeying Covid safety guidelines -19.
Meanwhile, Marandi flew to New Delhi to meet with senior BJP leaders on his birthday.
“He was in New Delhi on Tuesday and held a meeting.
He, however, spoke to family members, friends and sympathizers either by telephone, “said a Marandi Aide.
