Ludhiana: Because there are more than 65 Covid deaths that month, the Ministry of Health will hold a review meeting that will cover aspects such as whether the deceased is vaccinated and the type of disease that they might have suffered.
“There is a death that heaven that happens because of Covid.
We will reach a conclusion after the review,” said a health official.
The Civil Surgeon Dr.
SP Singh said the Committee Reviews Covid Deaths – which will have around 10 members, including experts from private hospitals and medical specialists – will hold a meeting this week.
Ministry of Health officials say specialists will also include anesthesia and epidemiological experts.
They added that the case review will be sent to the state-level Covid Deaths review committee.
The Health Department official said the district level committee would also consider the deceased vaccination status and if they had diseases such as cancer, heart problems, hypertension, among others.
