Covid deaths: Rs 1 lakh Support for Karnataka BPL Households

Bengaluru: The Karnataka government on Monday announced a compensation of Rs 1 lakh each to below-poverty-line households that have lost mature associates to Covid-19.
The one time money aid would be limited to a single individual per household.
“The research has claimed the lives of getting members of many poor households and pushed into intense financial distress.
Bearing this in mind, we’ve opted to provide them with the help,” CM BS Yediyurappa told colleagues.
Assuming that Karnataka are the first nation to provide such a reimbursement, the CM said that the strategy brings relief to approximately 30,000 people in the nation and it could cost the exchequer involving Rs 250 crore and Rs 300 crore.
‘Situation greater than many nations’As stated by this health and household welfare ministry on Monday, the country has reported 33,033 Covid deaths up to now.
Yediyurappa reported this settlement is an expansion of this Rs 1,600-crore financial relief package declared in 2 parts so much for employees by unorganised sectors affected by the curfew and lockdown levied from the nation since April 27.

$5k per for tourist guidesTourism ministry CP Yogeeshwara on Monday declared financial help of Rs 5,000 per year to tourists guides, that are in misery after dropping livelihood because of Covid-19.
The nation has 384 enrolled tourist guides and every one of these is very likely to find the bundle next month.
Yogeeshwara said he’s suggested to grant aid of Rs 3,000 annually to resort workers.
He explained the proposal has been discussed at the finance department and also an order to this effect is anticipated soon.
