New Delhi: Delhi reported 12,527 Covid-19 fresh cases and 24 deaths again due to viral diseases on Monday, while the level of participants reached 27.99 percent, according to data distributed by the Ministry of Health.
However, only 44,762 tests were carried out to detect infection a day ago.
The National Capital has reported 18,286 fresh Covid cases and 28 deaths due to infection on Sundays, while the level of participants dropped to 27.87 percent from 30.64 percent the previous day.
On Monday, the number of daily cases reached 12,527 with a 27.99 percent participant, while 24 deaths were also recorded, according to the latest health bulletin.
Previously on that day, Health Minister Delhi Satyendar Jain said the city would likely witness 4,000-5,000 cases of Covid less than the amount reported on Sunday.
Delhi reported 20,718 cases and 30 deaths due to viral diseases on Saturday.
City saw 24,383 Covid cases and 34 deaths on Friday.
On Thursday, the national capital has reported 28.867 Covid-19 cases, the sharpest single-day surge here since the plague of pandemic.
Delhi’s biggest daily leap from 28,395 Covid cases was recorded on April 20 last year.
