New Delhi: Delhi recorded 18,286 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday and also witnessed a decrease in the level of participation to 27.87% after recording multiple pepositives of more than 30% for two consecutive days.
While both cases and the number of Covid tests have been dipped since Thursday, the level of participants has decreased after 25 days of continuous surge.
18,286 cases recorded in the last 24 hours came from a total of 65,621 tests, including 54,141 RPCR / CBNAat / Truthful NAT tests and 11,480 fast antigen tests.
After more than one Lakh Covid test on January 12, the number of tests has been dipped but the level of progress has soared in a worrying manner.
The pioneering rate of Sunday 27.87% test is not only the lowest in three days, two of them see the level of 30.64%, but also the first time in 25 days after the test level in Delhi has decreased.
On December 23, the level of participant was recorded at 0.19%, a reduction in a percentage point of 0.20% was recorded on December 22.
The day after, December 24, the level of participation rose to 0.29% because 180 cases were recorded.
Since then, even though the number of cases has soared and fluctuated, the participants only soar, without stopping.
Health Minister Delhi Satyendar Jain on Sunday said that it was a good sign that cases in Delhi declined over the past three days and hoped the trend continued.
He told the press direction that weekend curvacts proved to be useful, because fewer people adventurous outside, limit the spread of coronavirus.
“The level of prospective will definitely go down too,” he said.
When asked about the decline in the number of Covid tests, Jain said that the number of cases reported did not fall because there was a test in the test.

At Delhi Hospital, 13,000 beds remain empty and patients treated in hospitals because Coronavirus cannot be vaccinated or has comorbidities.
The number of active cases reached 89,819 on Sunday, where 68,411 were in house isolation.
The number of Covid-19 patients received at the hospital was 2.711, with 835 patients in oxygen support.
Of the 835 patients, 123 experienced ventilator support.
Delhi saw 28 people giving up on Covid-19 within 24 hours on Sunday, taking the victim to 25,363.
