Pune: The number of people who tested positive Covid-19 continued to increase in the metropolitan area of Pune (PMR) on Friday, with 683 cases recorded here in the last 24 hours – tally one highest day since 165 detection recorded.
With this, the progressive Caseload PMR has increased above 11.64 lakh.
According to reports issued by the District Health Authority on Friday, the total release reached above 11.42 lakh in PMR with the recovery of 266 individuals.
Three more people gave up on Covid’s related complications in the region on Friday, taking victims to 19,247.
The report shows that the total active case of the quick approach to 3,000-marks.
On Friday, the active count at PMR stands at 2,960, including 2,374 patients in home care and 586 undergoing treatment in various hospitals throughout the region.
Among new cases, the PMC area added 412, followed by the PCMC (150) limit and a rural part (96).
Other areas in this region are organized by the council and Cantonments each recorded 10 and 15 cases.
The recovery, the PCMC area recorded the highest number for that day (117), followed by the PMC area (95) and the rural part (36).
Recovery on the board stands at the age of 10 and in Canton, eight people recovered.
The PMC area, PCMC and Cantonment do not register any death because of Covid-19.
The area under the jurisdiction of the Board recorded one death, while rural areas saw two patients giving up on infection.
According to death reports, comorbidity such as high blood pressure, diabetes, respiratory problems and heart problems also play a role in causing death, along with Covid infection.
Given the increase in the case of omicron variants of the Covid-19 virus, health officials have appealed to people to adhere to the appropriate Covid behavior and not unnecessary.
“People have to wear masks and keep social distance to maintain infection in the bay.
