Covid: Every 4th teenager is now fully vaccinated in Delhi

New Delhi: Two weeks after young people in the age group 15-17 qualify for the second dose of Covaxin, every fourth teenager in Delhi is now fully vaccinated.
Until Monday, 8.8 lakh teenagers had been given the first dose of Covaxin and 3.1 lakh, both doses.

However, according to the Calculation of the Delhi government, around 7.5 students in the study of the age group in the schools were running, apart from more than 50,000 schools assisted by the government, plus 3,3 lakh private students in private schools.
With this arithmetic, 78.6% of schools have been affixed once, while 27.3% are now doubled.
Their vaccination in the 15-17 year age group began in 3.
January after a 28-day gap starting January 31, teenagers inoculated qualified for the second dose.
Delhi government officials on Tuesday said that while the cohort vaccination rate has been fast, district authorities ensure that it is not protected to get their first dose as soon as possible.
In addition, despite enthusiasm among adolescents about vaccination, district authorities still urge them via SMS to take their second dose.
While the West-Western District has been inoculating most teenagers until Sunday – 1,19,301 – the largest number of vaccinated adolescents comes from the northeastern district of 43,804.
North-West also gave the first dose to more than one Lakh young man, followed by the West (89,882), northeast (86,574) and southeast (82,113).

To ensure a fast-paced teenage coverage in the city, the Directorate of Education of the Delhi Government, who cared for government school affairs, issued circular directed the head of all schools to play an important role in the exercise.
It also publishes guidelines for the schools that have been designated as a vaccination center.
The number of adolescents in private schools that have been vaccinated is far lower than in Delhi and DoE government schools reach these schools to ensure they advise their students to get a protective jab on time, especially because all classes have been continued now.
