Covid-hit family starves in the House in Aligarh

ALIGARH: A Covid widow dropped her job as a result of pandemic and her children are admitted to a hospital at Aligarh, seemingly after going without food for a few days.
Doctors in the Malkhan Singh District Hospital reported that both relatives were hardly able to speak to stand up if they were announced on Tuesday by some great Samaritans.
The mum, Guddi (40), informed mediapersons that later getting lost her husband, that had been the only breadwinner, to Covid this past year, she’d been eking out a living from operating at a lock mill.
That too closed down a couple of weeks ago.
Following the information surfaced, District Magistrate Chandra Bhushan Singh rushed a group of officials to look into the issue and expand aid, an official release stated.
After losing her job, Guddi stated her eldest son Ajay (20) began running as a daily wage building worker but because of the lockdown at April through the next wave of coronavirushe also lost his job along with sources of income dried up.
As nobody managed to maneuver from the home situated at Mandir ka Nagla beneath Sasni Gate police station place, Guddi stated that for almost eight months, they lived on’chapatis’ that their acquaintances used to provide them.
But 10 days ago even such mercies finished and”that the whole family went with one meal”, she explained.
The DM has also sent a group of 3 officials headed by sub divisional magistrate Kunwar Bahadur Singh to look into the issue and”offer instant relief for example foodgrain, additional food items and also a sum of Rs 5,000 into the affected household”, the release stated.
He explained that the issue has been researched and further actions will follow shortly.
Meanwhile, the Sunil Kumar who conducts a social business’Hands for Aid’ has also come forward to offer ration.
Vishnu Kumar Bunty of Manav Upkar Sanstha, that has been assisting individuals struck by the coronavirus outbreak, has demanded a probe into this event.
He said that a door-to-door survey ought to be held to follow individuals whose livelihoods are struck by the current lockdowns.
