Thiruvananthapuram: Vattiyorkavu MLA V K Prasanth, usually a social media favorite, found himself at the end of the recipient at his Facebook post who said homeopathic prevention drugs for Covid-19 had protected him from infection until Saturday.
After testing Covid-positive, MLA made a Facebook post stating that he did not sign a virus before when he took homeopathic drugs distributed as an amplifier of immunity.
According to the FB MLA post, he works among the people since the plague of pandemic and he has tested RT-PCR and antigens more than 15 times.
Last week, he got the Jab Covaxin both.
Also, he strongly believes that homeopathic prevention drugs have helped him avoid viral contracts, regardless of all exposure.
Comments don’t go down well with many people.

Unnikrishnan Bhaskaran Nair who works at Kerala Health Services commented, “Homeopathy is a method of care without a scientific foundation and is very unfortunate that the person responsible and educated like you (v K Prasanth) promotes this kind of not scientific methods.” Meanwhile, others strengthen MLA’s support for negative comments.
Rahul S G claimed that for the past 10 months, not a case of Covid-19 was reported in his friend’s ward (Thiruvali Grama Panchayat in the Malappuram district) because they were given homeopathic prevention drugs.
Reeja R stated that homeopathic medicine had saved his 80-year-old father who signed Covid-19 but recovered without much complications.
According to sources, Mla’s opinion was purely based on her personal experience and she did not mean to pretend to fight the others.
He received his Covid-19 vaccination, and because he was always among people, including health workers, he also had homeopathic prevention drugs, his office was informed.
Meanwhile, Prasanth’s health condition, which is in quarantine, remains stable and he has shown mild symptoms.
