Covid impact: ISL Game Friday between Mumbai and Jamshedpur was postponed

Bambolim: The Indian Super League match between Jamshedpur FC and the city of Mumbai FC, scheduled for Friday, has been postponed because many players representing the teams went down with the Covid-19 virus.
“Hero Indian Super League (ISL) matches No.
67 between Jamshedpur FC and Mumbai City FC scheduled on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Athletic Stadium, Bambolim, stands postponed,” said the league organizers in a statement.
“The decision was taken in considering the advice of the League medical team in the inability of Jamshedpur FC to safely involve the team and prepare for the match,” ISL added in his statement.
On Monday, the ISL match between Hyderabad FC and Jamshedpur FC was also postponed because of Covid-19, and so did the game Thursday between Kerala Blaster FC and ATK Mohun Bagan because of the unavailability of sufficient players in the former ranks after being beaten by Covid.
