Delhi reported the highest death of Covid-19 among these countries with 203 deaths, a four-fold increase from victims 51 weeks ago, even when death across the country registered an increase of 83% during the period.

The rate of rise in the case slowed to 113%, from 506% last week and 181% in the previous week, because several countries reported signs of infection slowing.
Tests also slowed in the second half of this week.
India recorded 1,394 new deaths from the virus on the week running, up from 761 in seven days earlier.
These figures do not include deaths from the previous period reported now.
Including this old death, weekly victims stood at 2,468, up from 2,039 in the previous seven days.
After Delhi, Bengal had the second highest victim of 187, followed by Maharashtra (169), Tamil Nadu (134) Kerala (127) and Punjab (88).
Punjab, which has the highest covid death rate in the country of 2.5%, see a sharp increase in fatality in the last half of this week, with the victim in the last three days of accounting for 57 deaths.
Bihar registered the sharpest increase in death, with the toll of five in the previous week to 34, a seven fold increase.
Other countries that see death increased at least three tolls in the previous week including Rajasthan, Haryana, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh.
Overall, however, death so far in the third wave is still much lower than in the appropriate case stage in the second wave.
When active cases have risen 16 lakh in the second wave – approximately the current number – India reported 1,300-1,400 daily deaths.
While Maharashtra continues to report the highest number of weekly cases at 2.88 lakh, the state counting has increased with a modern 30%.
Karnataka reported the second highest number of 1.68 lakh, registering a sharp four-fold increase from the previous week’s calculation.
Delhi recorded a new 1.6 lakh case, up 68% from the previous week.
Andhra Pradesh recorded the sharpest increase, with infection increased by 5.5 times to 24,421.
India reported a little less than 2.6 lakh new cases on Sundays, the second day in a row from the fall.
Death rose for the eighth day in a row up to 233, up from 224 on Saturday.
